The young midfielder had been with QPR’s youth team, going on work experience to Hayes in December 2007, before signing his first professional contract in July 2008. He had not played a first team fixture for Rangers, but was a regular in their reserves. He went on loan to neighbours Kettering Town in November 2008, before being recalled to Loftus Road in January 2009. Chris arrived at Nene Park on a one month loan on 27 February 2009 and made his debut as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat by Mansfield Town the following day. He made just one further appearance, starting in the game at Torquay United before his loan expired at the end of March.
He was released by QPR in May 2009, and although he had a short trial at Lincoln City, he joined Conference South side Bishop’s Stortford on 25 September 2010. After two months, he went on trial at League Two side Rotherham United, and he joined the Millers on a two-month contract on 17 December 2010. He spent a short period in Turkey, and although without a club at the start of the 2011/2012 season, he signed for Conference South side Havant & Waterlooville on 2 September 2011. After just 4 appearances however, he was released and joined League Two side Northampton Town on 30 September 2011 on a three month deal but was released early on 12 December 2011 after 8 games. On 16 December 2011, Chris re-joined Havant & Waterlooville. He made a total of 67 appearances for the Hawks, scoring 2 goals, but left to join League Two side AFC Wimbledon on 28 May 2013. On 21 August 2014, Chris joined Conference side Woking in 2014, initially on a one month loan deal before making a permanent move. Prior to the 2016/17 season he joined Crawley Town. The following campaign was begun with Aldershot Town, but he moved in December 2017 to Leatherhead, then on to Kingstonian in March 2018. He left the K’s prior to the 2018-19 season. For the 2021-22 season he was playing at Ware FC. His Wikipedia page is here.
