He had been playing for Northampton Parkland Tigers and secured a scholarship early that season thanks to a number of impressive performances for the Youth Team. He also played in a number of reserve games and was part of the senior squad which won the Hillier Senior Cup in the 2007-08 season. He made his senior debut with a short substitute appearance in the Hillier Senior Cup game against Cogenhoe United in November 2007, and then made a further substitute appearance against Northampton Spencer early in 2008 in the semi-final of that competition.
In the spring of 2009, he went on a work experience loan to Daventry Town of the United Counties League Premier, and also played in the final of the Midland Youth Cup, but was released at the end of his scholarship programme in May 2009. He joined Long Buckby of the UCL Premier on 14 August 2009, and made 11 appearances for them, before joining Northants Combination side Heyford Athletic. In July 2011, he was with Northampton Spencer, but left at the end of the season. In January 2014, Sean joined UCL Premier side Long Buckby. No record of his involvement with the game has been found between 2015 to 2018.
