The 27 year old midfielder / striker was signed by Graham Westley on 4 January 2007 from Hellenic Football League Premier Division side Witney United after scoring 7 goals in the previous month. He started out with his hometown team at Oxford United in 1997, though the majority of his 77 appearances were off the bench. In February 2000, he joined Boston United, helping them earn League status the following season. He was released however, and joined Graham Westley at Stevenage Borough. After a loan spell with Bath City, he joined Maidenhead United, before Witney United.

Jamie made seven starts in the league and two in the FA Trophy, with his only goal coming in the 2-1 over Stafford Rangers at Nene Park on 20th January 2007. He made his final appearance for the Diamonds in the 2-2 draw at Aldershot.

After suffering a foot injury in that final appearance, and the arrival of new boss Garry Hill, he left by mutual consent on 20 March 2007. Jamie joined Crawley Town, where he remained for two years, before moving to Oxford United on 1 September 2009 for a £5,000 fee. Despite a year to run on his contract with the U’s, he was released by mutual consent on 28 June 2010 and the following day, joined Crawley Town on a one year deal. He was released at the end of the season following Crawley’s promotion to the Football League, and joined Conference side Bath City on 31 May 2011 on a one year deal. At the start of the following season on 15 June 2012, Jamie joined newly promoted Conference North side Oxford City. He retired in the summer of 2013, hoping to become a professional golfer, but returned to the game the following season, re-joining Oxford City in July 2014. Jamie was released a month into the season, and joined Southern League Division One South & West side North Leigh on 20 September 2014. He stayed at North Leigh until retiring from the game in April 2017.
