Glyn was an experienced central defender who joined Diamonds in June 1995 after a successful career with Wycombe Wanderers. He had originally been with Diamonds manager Roger Ashby at Wolverton before playing for Kettering Town and Barnet. He joined the Chairboys in the summer of 1987 and was in their side which did the double in 1993, winning the Conference title, as well as the FA Trophy. He also helped them to promotion the following season.

After some 13 appearances, the arrival of Steve Holden from Kettering Town saw him move down the pecking order and he departed in January 1996 to join Dagenham & Redbridge. He was in their side which lost the FA Trophy Final against Woking the following season. After a spell as Assistant Manager at New Bradwell St Peter he joined Aylesbury United as a coach for the start of the 2010-11 season. He became Aylesbury United Assistant Manager before taking up the Manager role, but left that role at the end of 2017.

One Response to Glyn Creaser

  1. Tom Howard says:

Glyn was the bomb, clearly past his best and determined to prove he still had it. A true fans favourite, could quite conceivably been sent off in every game for a an elbow, head butt or pretty much anything, I loved watching him, I’d certainly have been sh1t scared of playing against him.
