After trials at Stevenage Borough and Cambridge City, he joined Peterborough United in November 2006, but went out on loan to Kings Lynn making just one appearance. He was recalled to Peterborough United on 19 January 2007 in order to sign for Rushden & Diamonds, but quickly fell out of favour, making just a single Hillier Senior Cup appearance. He was released on 19 February, and joined Boreham Wood. After trials at Harrow Borough, Grays Athletic and Crawley Town during 2007, he has since played for Cheshunt, Halesowen Town and Northwood, who he joined in March 2008 before signing for St.Albans City in July. He was released again, and rejoined Northwood to play a couple of games in October, before signing for Hitchin Town later that month. Yet again, his stay was a brief one, being released by Hitchin in mid-November 2008, returning to Wealdstone. On 26 December 2009, he joined Southern League Premier Division side Hemel Hempstead Town, scoring once in 6 appearances. In August 2010, Rodney returned for a third spell with Southern League Central Division side Northwood. Rodney moved to fellow Southern League side North Greenford United in March 2011. He left at the end of the season.
